Share the Love – Old Lady Edition!

Most of last week was pretty much a big ‘ol nope for me. I just hit this wall of no motivation and fell into a rut I could not get out of. Luckily, I felt so horrible about it by Thursday night that I went full motivation mode and actually managed to get quite a bit done Friday and Saturday!

So while I was busy doing nothing last week I found comfort in boring old lady things and Netflix.

Here are a few of the things I loved last week!

Peppermint tea! I was having a bit of an upset stomach so I grabbed some peppermint tea at the store to try and now I’m just hooked. It’s the perfect afternoon comfy/cozy drink when I don’t want caffeine. (I like mine with a splash of creamer!)
Hi, I’m 32 and I’m super excited about socks!
(I assume my old cookie tin full of ribbon candy will be arriving any day now.)
If you listen to podcasts then you have probably heard of this brand many times. Chris actually ordered some of these Bombas socks recently to replace his old worn out ones. I tried a pair and LOVED them! They are so soft and super stretchy! They are definitely not cheap, but I’m happy to invest in quality staples that will last a long time. Plus they donate a pair for every pair you buy!

Did you think socks were the most boring thing someone could get excited about? HA! You really underestimated my abilities to be lame. Look, I don’t really give a shit about toilet paper. (No pun intended, but have a laugh anyhow.) I just want it to be as eco-friendly as possible (including packaging!) and easy to get into my house. The fact that this toilet paper comes in the most AMAZING paper and hilatious packaging is just such a nice bonus! It’s like a free smile every time you use up the last of a roll wiping your ass.

This toilet paper is made from 100% recycled paper and comes with NO plastic packaging. They also donate 50% of their profits to help build toilets in places that need them. Love it!
I also love that they offer auto-delivery because I hate wasting my time worrying about toilet paper.

Ok, fine. Old lady time is over. While I was busy doing absolutely nothing last week I did binge watch the first season of Sex Education on Netflix. Not much to say except it was hilariously delightful!

What made you smile last week?
